City tour - Road transfer to Volcanoes. Approximately 02:30 min drive

After your breakfast at 08:00am, you will check out and head for your city tour which includes the Gisozi Genocide Memorial center.
The Kigali Memorial exists is a permanent memorial to those who fell victim to the genocide in 1994. It deals with a topic of international importance, with far-reaching significance, and is designed to engage and challenge an international visitor base. Here you will be able to visit the three permanent exhibitions, the largest of which documents the genocide and pay tribute to the victims of the genocide.

12:30PM: Lunch will be at Mille collines Hotel Restaurant.

2:00PM: Depart for MUSANZE, Arrive and check in at Mountain gorilla view lodge, freshen up and relax for the rest of the evening.

Arise early today (06:00am) and prepare for the highlight of your safari, an unforgettable encounter with the gentle giants!
Following breakfast, transfer to the national park offices where you will be allocated a gorilla family in groups of 8 as well as a gorilla tracking guide. After a pre-tracking briefing by your guide touching on the gorillas generally, your assigned gorilla family as well as safety precautions, you drive to the trailhead for the start of a thrilling adventure. Expect to walk between 2 and 8 hours in steep and sometimes muddy conditions with rain overhead, which can be tough and require a degree of (average) fitness.
